Karen is a fully trained medical herbalist, having completed a four‑year, full‑time professional programme at Betonica School of Herbal Medicine. Her training included clinical practice, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, pathology, chemistry, botany, 500hrs of clinic practice and the safe and effective use of plant medicine. She brings together scientific understanding and traditional herbal knowledge to offer evidence‑based, holistic care.

Karen lives in Devizes, Wiltshire with her family and enjoys exploring both city streets and countryside paths.

Alongside her herbal medicine practice, Karen holds an MA from the Royal College of Art and is a Senior Lecturer at Bath Spa University. This creative and research‑informed background enriches her approach to herbal medicine, helping her offer thoughtful, person‑centred care rooted in curiosity, observation, and whole‑body understanding.
